Focus: How To Find It
Monday Mar 28, 2022
Monday Mar 28, 2022
Got the attention span of a caffeinated toddler? Same. Especially when your “why” has gone walkabout.
In this episode, we build on the last one about motivation — this time it's all about staying focused. Whether your reason is big (build your dream life) or small (keep the dogs fed), reconnecting to your personal why is the key to getting sh*t done.
🌍 I work with clients (everyday folk, just like you!) worldwide via Zoom, and all my trainings are available online — either as self-study or as part of a coaching package. So wherever you are, if you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to support you.

Focus On The Little Things
Monday Apr 04, 2022
Monday Apr 04, 2022
Feel like you’ve got a mountain to climb? Yeah, me too. When the big picture gets overwhelming, it’s time to zoom in. Way in.
This episode is all about the power of micro-tasks — focusing on one small, do-able thing at a time. No giant plans, no pressure to solve it all at once. Just a shift in mindset and one manageable step forward. Because even mountains are climbed one step at a time.

How To Be Normal
Wednesday Apr 13, 2022
Wednesday Apr 13, 2022
Spoiler alert: there’s no such thing. “Normal” is a myth, and frankly, a boring one.
In this episode, I unpack the unhelpful pressure to fit into boxes – from being a bit neurospicy, to living with an invisible disability, to simply making choices that don’t tick other people’s “normal” boxes. It’s a reminder to drop the judgment (of yourself and others) and celebrate your wonderfully weird self. Be YOU. That’s more than enough.

Getting Back On Track
Friday Jun 10, 2022
Friday Jun 10, 2022
Ever found yourself slipping into a funk without even realising it? That was me. Life got heavy, and the word disability hit harder than I expected. I let other people’s opinions creep in and shape how I saw myself. But the truth? You get to define who you are — not your diagnosis, not your environment, and definitely not anyone else’s narrative.
If you’re stuck in a space that doesn’t support you — emotionally, mentally, or physically — it’s time to rethink, regroup, and realign. Your wellbeing has to come first.

Childlike, Carefree and Creative - Three C’s We Could All Embrace More
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
When was the last time you let yourself really play?
I've been on Aunty duty lately — less swearing, more “whoopsies,” handstands, forward rolls, pirate games… and you know what? It’s been good for the soul.
We spend so much time being serious, adulting hard, and trying to keep it all together that we forget how powerful it can be to let go and be a bit daft. Creativity needs space to breathe — and joy is one hell of a catalyst.
🎨 So give it a go: embrace the silly, the playful, the childlike. Your body, mind and mood will thank you for it.

Comfortable: Friend or Foe
Monday Aug 01, 2022
Monday Aug 01, 2022
Let’s talk about comfort — the good, the bad, and the sneaky.
Yes, comfort can be a lifeline, especially when you’ve been through trauma, emotional upheaval, or big life changes. We all need a safe space to land. But when does comfort turn into a trap? When does it quietly stop us from growing, changing, or going after what we actually want?
In this episode, I unpack the difference between genuinely needing comfort and being stuck in it. Are you staying where you are because it's nurturing — or because it’s easy? Is “comfortable” keeping you small, scared, and stagnant? Let’s challenge that gently but firmly.
I also talk through practical ways to shift gears if you’re ready to stretch beyond the familiar and start steering your own bloody boat again.

Grief: Don’t Hide It Away
Saturday Aug 27, 2022
Saturday Aug 27, 2022
Grief isn’t just about losing a person. It can hit after the loss of a relationship, a job, your health, your home — or even the life you thought you’d have. And yes, you can still grieve for something you chose to let go of.
In this episode, I talk honestly about grief — how we’re often encouraged to push it down, hide it, or distract ourselves. I’ve done that myself. But buried emotions don’t stay buried. They come back… and often when you least expect it.
This time, grief hit me like a freight train — and I share what I did with it. I also talk about losing my why, and how hard it can be to find a new one when the old one is gone. If you’re navigating your own loss — of any kind — you are not alone.
🧠 I also reference The Language of Emotions by Karla McLaren — a great read if you want to understand and honour your emotional world better.

How To Be A People Pleaser
Thursday Sep 08, 2022
Thursday Sep 08, 2022
Being a people pleaser gets a bad rap — but it’s not always a bad thing. Some of us are natural nurturers, and we genuinely enjoy making others happy. The key? Boundaries.
In this episode, I chat about the good side of people pleasing — and where it can go very, very wrong. If you're constantly saying yes (even when you feel a "no"), if resentment bubbles up, or if you're always the one bending... it's time to check in with yourself.
💡 Being kind and caring doesn’t mean becoming a doormat. When people pleasing comes from choice — not compulsion — it’s a strength, not a weakness.
💬 Listen in for simple signs to watch for, and a gentle reminder that it’s okay to put yourself first sometimes.

Bored
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
I am B.O.R.E.D. — and that never happens. But here we are.
So what do you do when boredom creeps in and life feels a bit… meh? Whether it’s a cold keeping you down (hi, that’s me) or your motivation’s just taken a hike, this episode is all about how to shift that stagnant energy — starting with just one thing.
💬 I talk about the difference between regular boredom and something deeper (like depression), and why it’s so important to notice the signs early. If it’s boredom? Great — we can work with that. Start small. Take one step. That’s what I did — by recording this episode.
📍 Boredom might be a clue. What’s it trying to tell you?
