Hi, I’m Sue Wright — author of How To Get Your Shit Together. These short, punchy episodes cut through the fluff to give you real talk, practical tools, and no-BS coaching. I’ve faced serious life storms and made it out stronger — now I help you build the mental grit to do the same. Raw, honest, and a little bit sweary (because sometimes nothing else hits quite the same). www.coachsue.co.uk

Vulnerability: Friend or Foe?

Feeling vulnerable often gets a bad rap—it can make us feel exposed, weak, or a bit pathetic. But what if vulnerability isn’t a sign of weakness at all? What if it’s your subconscious sending up a flare, saying pay attention—something’s not quite right?
In this episode, I reframe vulnerability as a wake-up call. When you're feeling on edge or unusually sensitive, it’s rarely random. It’s usually your inner world asking you to pause, reflect, and explore. Maybe something needs changing, or maybe your boundaries need attention. Either way, vulnerability can be a powerful prompt—not a problem to ignore.
If this episode resonates and you’d like to explore these feelings in a supportive, structured way, check out my 1:1 coaching or self-study courses - they’re designed to help you work with your emotions, not against them.
